Current Projects

All of the projects we work on are for the benefit of Bodie. As an all volunteer organization, our administrative costs are extremely low. While all direct donations to specific projects go to that project, a small portion of Membership funds are used for organizational costs.

Below are projects that are in need of funding. Your contributions are appreciated and needed. Donations are tax-deductible as provided by law.

Walkie-talkies for Park Aides
During the course of a day, there are many park aides and volunteers around Bodie. This necessitates a need for walkie-talkies to communicate with one another. The aides and volunteers currently have the needed equiptment, but new ones are always needed, as damage and use wear them out. Furthermore, since these are not used for communcation with law enforcement, they are not provided by the State. So, we would like to purchase matching radios and donate them to the park.
